Online Blackjack Game

Blackjack is a game played by the gambler against the dealer. There may be several players at the blackjack table, but they all don't play with each other.

The Aim of Blackjack

The main objective of the blackjack game is to beat the dealer, getting 21 points or close to this number, without exceeding it.

Game Procedure

Blackjack game is played with 1-8 usual decks of cards.
The players place their bets.
The dealer distributes two cards for everyone at the table. Player's two cards are face up and one of the banker's cards if face down.
The cards are dealt beginning from the first player to the dealer's left and the procedure goes in the clockwise direction.
After the player received the cards they should make the decision to Hit (take one more card) or to Stand (stay with the same amount of cards).
The winners are detected and are paid their payouts and bonuses, if they are available.

Blackjack Card Values

Cards from 2s to 10s - are counted according to their value.
Face cards (Jack, Queen, King) - have the 10-point value.
An Ace - can be counted as 1 or 11 points, depending on the player's decision.

Players Decisions

Hit - a desire to take one more card. You may hit as many time as you wish, unless you'll exceed 21 points.
Stand - the option of refusing to take the additional card. It is made if the player is satisfied with his/her result or receiving another card will let to the Bust.
Bust - the excess of cards. In this case the player or the dealer loses automatically.
Split - the option of separating first two paired cards. After the splitting the gambler plays two hands separately.
Surrender (consult our blackjack glossary) - option possible if the gambler thinks he/she may lose with the hand of cards. In this case the player loses only the half of the initial bet.
Doubling Down - the doubling of the player's initial bet with the possibility to take only one extra card.
Insurance is offered to the player if the dealer has an Ace. It is an optional bet.
